MoneySoft Acquires the Rights to PPC’s Business Valuation Specialist Software System
Phoenix, AZ July 17, 2013—MoneySoft, Inc. announces that on July 1, 2013 it has purchased the rights to PPC’s Business Valuation Specialist® from the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters.
PPC’s Business Valuation Specialist provides business appraisers and valuators with an efficient and effective way to value privately held businesses and practices for tax, legal and business planning purposes. PPC’s Business Valuation Specialist was originally created as a collaborative effort between MoneySoft and Practitioners Publishing Company (PPC).
PPC licensed the software and sold it under the PPC imprint from 1999 to 2013. During this time, MoneySoft published an identical version of the product known as Corporate Valuation Professional™.
Most recently, PPC and MoneySoft took first and second place in The CPA Technology Advisor’s 2012 Reader’s Choice Award for the valuation software category.
Concurrent with the agreement, MoneySoft has retired Corporate Valuation Professional with the release of the new MoneySoft Business Valuation Specialist. Learn more about MoneySoft’s Business Valuation Specialist.
