- Larger database fields allow for larger numbers and longer labels.
Improved User Interface and Streamlined Navigation for Increased Productivity:
- Database controls such as New, Edit, Next, Prior and Save have been added to ALL input screens for faster navigation.
- A quick access report button remembers your last opened report. The report writer is now accessible from the toolbar.
- You can now customize the asset listing view to show or hide only the data columns that you want to see.
- All of the screens are now re-sizeable so you can expand them as much as you want and the program remembers the last screen size and position.
- The program now scales properly if you are using a large font setting (requires resolution > 1024×768).
Enhanced Report Generation and Data Export Capabilities:
- All standard reports have been improved with a new report generation engine.
- Now you can save ALL reports, including custom reports, directly to Adobe PDF format as well as Excel XLS and RTF files.
- The entire database is now exportable to common file formats such Excel, delimited text, XML, SQL script, and Dbase for increased portability of data.
- A more powerful report writer gives you more control and makes it easier to create custom reports.
A Friendlier System for Multi-User Environments:
- Each company data set is contained in a single, portable database file that can be stored anywhere you want, not in multiple files and in cryptically named folders.
- Multiple users can now simultaneously edit the same database file. With the old system, only one user at a time could access the database.
- We’ve also improved security by adding password protection to each company database.
Program Utilities:
- An auto-update utility has been added for distribution of routine maintenance patches.
- Database utilities have been added to keep your data compact and efficient.
